Karachi, 12 September 2026: Mr. Munawar Ali Mithani, Secretary, Social Welfare Department (SWD), Government of Sindh, chaired a meeting of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) regarding the promotion of Assistants (BS-16) to Superintendents (BS-17).

The meeting focused on reviewing the cases of eligible departmental employees for promotion in accordance with the applicable service rules, policies, and prescribed procedures.

The Secretary reviewed the agenda and relevant service matters presented before the committee and emphasized the importance of ensuring transparency, merit, and strict adherence to the applicable rules and regulations throughout the promotion process.
