Secretary Social Welfare Department Chairs Meeting with SAHARA Public Rights Welfare Organization

KARACHI, September 29, 2026: Mr. Munawar Ali Mithani, Secretary Social Welfare Department, Government of Sindh, chaired a meeting with representatives of SAHARA Public Rights Welfare Organization, associated with SAHARA Village (A Home for Homeless People).

During the meeting, matters relating to the organization’s welfare activities, services for homeless and vulnerable individuals, and its role in providing care, shelter, and rehabilitation facilities were discussed in detail.

The Secretary Social Welfare Department appreciated the efforts of SAHARA Public Rights Welfare Organization in serving vulnerable segments of society and emphasized the importance of strengthening coordination between government institutions and welfare organizations to improve social protection and rehabilitation services across Sindh.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss areas of mutual cooperation and possible measures to further enhance welfare services for deserving and marginalized communities.
