Introduction

The Social Welfare Department (SWD), Government of Sindh, is mandated to promote the well-being of vulnerable populations including children,senior citizens, and, transgender individuals, and drug dependents. SWD also regulates and coordinates with NGOs, manages statutory councils and boards, and leads community-based development through institutional mechanisms and partnerships.
