Working for welfare of marginalized segment of the society ie, children, senior citizens, drug addicts and transgender.

The Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration & Control) Ordinance, 1961
The Sindh Child Protection Authority Act, 2011 (amended in 2021)
The Sindh Darul Atfal (Supervision & Control) Act 1976 (amended in 1984)
The Sindh Child Marriage Restraint Act, 2013 (inserted vide notification dated 01-04-2022)
The Sindh Street Children Sheher Home Act, 2018
The Sindh Senice Citizen Welfare Act, 2014
The Sindh Charities Registration & Regulation Act, 2019
The Registration, cancellation, restoration, monitoring, and supervision of NGOs under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration & Control) Ordinance, 1961
Matters related to the Sindh Charities Registration & Regulation Act, 2019
Preparation & implementation of grant-in-aid policy to government entities and non-governmental organizations engaged in various social services / fields etc.
Coordination of social welfare programs with other Nation building departments, donor agencies and non-profit organizations at Provincial, district, and local level Matters related to Sindh Social Welfare Council
Preparation & execution of development schemes of social welfare department through Annual Development Programme (ADP) Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode or international financing.
Capacity building of employees of Social Welfare Department and various Social Welfare Organizations i.e, NGOs and CBOs
Matters related to Medical Social Services at tertiary care hospitals.
Monitoring & Supervision of services provided to children, drug addicts, senior citizens and transgender.
Service matter, except those entrusted to the Services, General Administration & Coordination Department.
