SECRETARY SOCIAL WELFARE DEPARTMENT VISITS SENIOR CITIZEN PROJECT AT NEW KARACHI TOWN DISTRICT CENTRAL

Karachi, 30 September 2026: Mr. Munawar Ali Mithani, Secretary Social Welfare Department, Government of Sindh, visited the Senior Citizen Project at New Karachi Town, District Central, on 30th September 2026.

During the visit, the Secretary inspected the project site and reviewed the ongoing development and facilities being established for the welfare and support of senior citizens. He was accompanied by the Chief Engineer and Executive Engineer, Works & Services Department, Government of Sindh.

The Secretary reviewed the infrastructure and overall arrangements of the project and discussed the progress of the development works with the concerned officers. He emphasized the importance of completing the project in accordance with the required standards so that senior citizens can benefit from appropriate facilities and services in a safe and supportive environment.

The visit reflects the Social Welfare Department’s commitment to strengthening welfare facilities and promoting the dignity, care, and well-being of senior citizens across Sindh.
