Karachi, 28 October 2026: Mr. Munawar Ali Mithani, Secretary, Social Welfare Department, Government of Sindh, along with the Project Management and Implementation Unit (PMIU) for Drug Control & Rehabilitation team, visited the primary unit of AAS Foundation to review its services and ongoing activities.

During the visit, the team reviewed the unit’s work and service delivery in the field of drug rehabilitation. The visit provided an opportunity to observe the ongoing efforts of AAS Foundation and assess its role in supporting individuals affected by substance use.

The Social Welfare Department, Government of Sindh, continues to engage with relevant organizations to review rehabilitation services and strengthen efforts aimed at the welfare and rehabilitation of vulnerable individuals.
