SECRETARY, SOCIAL WELFARE DEPARTMENT, GOVERNMENT OF SINDH, VISITS NEWLY COMPLETED DRUG REHABILITATION CENTER IN NEW KARACHI DISTRICT CENTRAL

Karachi, 30 September 2026:
Mr. Munawar Ali Mithani, Secretary Social Welfare Department, Government of Sindh, visited the newly completed Drug Rehabilitation Center at New Karachi Town, District Central, on 30th September 2026.

During the visit, the Secretary inspected the newly completed facilities and reviewed the overall infrastructure and arrangements of the rehabilitation center. He was accompanied by the Chief Engineer and Executive Engineer, Works & Services Department, Government of Sindh.

The visit focused on reviewing the facilities developed for the rehabilitation and welfare of individuals affected by substance abuse and ensuring that the center is equipped to provide appropriate rehabilitation and support services.

The Secretary appreciated the efforts of the concerned departments and emphasized the importance of providing effective rehabilitation, care, and social support to vulnerable individuals through such dedicated facilities.
