Karachi, 29 October 2026: Mr. Munawar Ali Mithani, Secretary, Social Welfare Department, Government of Sindh, chaired a meeting at the Social Welfare Training Institute, Karachi, to review arrangements and preparations for an Awareness Walk in connection with World Children’s Day, scheduled to be held on 21 November 2026 at McDonald’s, Sea View, Karachi.

The meeting focused on planning and coordination for the upcoming awareness walk, with emphasis on promoting children’s rights, protection, safety, and well-being. The initiative aims to raise public awareness about safeguarding children and ensuring a supportive and protective environment for every child.

The Social Welfare Department, Government of Sindh, remains committed to strengthening child protection initiatives and promoting awareness of children’s rights through public engagement and coordinated efforts.
