SCPA and LAS Sign MoU to Strengthen Child Protection and Access to Justice in Sindh

Karachi, 23 September 2026: The Sindh Child Protection Authority (SCPA) and Legal Aid Society (LAS) strengthened their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 23 September 2026.

The MoU establishes a formal framework for cooperation and coordination between SCPA and LAS with the objective of strengthening child protection mechanisms and improving access to justice for children across Sindh.

Under the partnership, both organizations will work towards enhanced coordination and collaboration in areas related to child protection, legal assistance, and access to justice, in accordance with their respective mandates.

The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to strengthening institutional mechanisms for the protection of children and supporting improved access to appropriate legal and protection services in Sindh.

The signing of the MoU marks a step towards further strengthening cooperation between SCPA and LAS and promoting coordinated efforts for the welfare and protection of children across the province.
